Our first collection is printed on 100% linen which has a very low environmental impact. The entirety of the flax plant can be woven with little waste, while the process is also low in chemicals and water usage. Linen is a very durable natural fibre that is built to live a long life. And if well looked after, it gets softer with age. Take care of your products by spot cleaning any stains (a sign of a good party) before popping them on a cool, short wash cycle, removing from the drum as soon as it’s finished and hanging evenly to dry. An iron will bring it back to life.
Our linen is rustic with a natural texture, so don’t be alarmed if you notice some perfectly imperfect slubs or specks. We stand against an airbrushed culture, from our fabric to our faces. We embrace the imperfections of life.
Digital printing is considered a low-wastage method, as every centimetre of material is accounted for. The entire process from the weaving to the printing to the sewing takes place in the UK and Ireland, where working standards and fair wages are high, and carbon footprint is low.
Our packaging is also fully recyclable, of course.
We include a care guide with every order, as we hope our products will see you through many of Earth’s cycles of celebration.
